Warranty
Blueseventy Canada – Warranty & Repair Policy
At blueseventy Canada, we take pride in the quality of our products and the athletes who wear them. We know that wetsuits and swimwear are more than just gear — they’re part of your journey. If something goes wrong, we’re here to help.
Our warranty process is designed to be fair, transparent, and supportive. We’ll work with you to assess the issue and determine the best path forward — whether that’s a repair, replacement, or credit — depending on the nature of the claim.
Warranty Coverage
- Wetsuits & accessories: Covered for 1 year from the date of purchase
- Technical race swimwear (e.g., Nero): Covered for 6 weeks
Warranty claims must be supported by a proof of purchase and are subject to inspection.
What’s Covered
We stand behind our gear when used as intended and cared for properly. Warranty coverage includes:
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Seam separation or delamination under normal use
Each case is reviewed individually, and we’ll do our best to find a fair resolution.
What’s Not Covered
While we’re committed to quality, some types of damage fall outside warranty coverage:
- Zipper damage: We use premium YKK zippers, known for their durability. Failures are extremely rare and typically result from improper handling — not manufacturing defects
- Fingernail punctures, heel tears, overstretching
- Heat damage (e.g., drying in direct sun or near heaters)
- Use outside intended purpose (e.g., surfing, diving)
- Cosmetic wear (e.g., graphic peeling, fading)
- Suits returned dirty, damp, or improperly packaged
Repair Services
If your suit is outside warranty or the issue isn’t covered, we may still be able to help. We offer paid repair services for eligible items. If repair isn’t feasible, we may offer a purchase credit toward a replacement.
How to Start a Claim
To begin, please contact us at support@blueseventy.ca with the following:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
- Clear photos of the issue/damage
- Full front and back photo of the suit
- Model and size of the wetsuit
- Your height and weight
We’ll review your claim and let you know whether a physical inspection is required. In most cases, we do need to examine the suit in person to properly assess the issue.
Shipping Costs
If a return is required, customers are responsible for inbound shipping costs. If the claim is approved, blueseventy Canada will cover the cost of return shipping back to you.
Roles & Responsibilities
We believe in working together to ensure your gear performs at its best — and that includes knowing who to contact when something goes wrong.
Start with Your Point of Purchase
If you purchased your wetsuit or swimwear from a local retailer or online store, we ask that you contact them first for any warranty-related concerns. Your retailer knows both you and the product — and they’re in the best position to:
- Assess the issue and determine next steps
- Help with logistics, including suit return or temporary rental options
- Offer guidance on proper care and maintenance
- Educate you on how to spot early signs of wear or failure
Many retailers offer yearly inspections or maintenance services that can extend the life of your suit and help prevent small issues from becoming larger repairs.
If You Purchased from blueseventy.ca
If your purchase was made directly through blueseventy.ca, you can contact us at info@blueseventy.ca and we’ll assist you directly.
If You Can’t Reach Your Retailer
If you're unable or unwilling to contact your original retailer, you may reach out to us directly. We’ll do our best to help — but please note:
- We can only assist with warranty repairs for products purchased through blueseventy.ca or an authorized Canadian retailer
- A valid proof of purchase is required
- Warranty coverage applies to the original owner only and is non-transferable
We’re here to support you!
